Space Madness

About to cry.  Been working on this since 3 today.  I never could get the map lettering to line up so I redid it with just the outlines.  I think I can go back in and just tween each individual map word or phrase...but not tonight.

Needs a polish pass too.  Tomorrow.

Recoding

I recoded all the buttons so that the sword leaves when there is animation on screen and returns when the page is over. I also added some sound and made it so you click on the objects on screen to advance animation for the pages that have it. I'll be putting in the rest of the animation for the shots where it is completed and making a few timing corrections. I'll also upload my current flash file to the google drive.

i posted sound effects to the google drive and organized it by category. alot of them are pretty funny

Revised Cellar Full

I fixed some perspective problems on the character, ripples, wall, and arch, added facial expressions, and tested out a way to introduce the space for the text (now in peach, later in white). Also, it's kind of slow when I exported it.

Few adjustments to flash files

Today I was stuck at home, so I made some adjustments.  I switched the code in my roof smash to actionscript 3.0 so it should work now when put into the main flash file.  I also tinkered with Richard's empty cellar shot too, to add in him imagining the pig.

Those are uploaded to the google drive as "Roofsmash03.fla" and "Cellar Empty Revised.fla" respectively.

Hey Nick, since you know action script, can I meet with you tomorrow either at noon or afternoon in the lab to rework some of the pages?

Also Richard, i didn't include your space pan before because when I did the whole book would crash. I think it's cause of the size of the images. Also I think it would look nice if you can redraw the map to the ebook's style.

Steven, we still need to resolve the type treatment for the cover and an ending page. Can you work on that?

If anyone else want to meet tomorrow that would be good.

Can everyone upload their psd files either in google drive or the server? Let me know where you put it.

I'm going to bump the contrast and make the space one more 'sketchy'.  Also, I think I'm going to make that bg in the cellar completely white.  Just a moment for page 6 and the rest of 12.
